The Capital Area of Wisconsin Chapter of NACE was founded in 2004 by a group of Madison Area Catering and event professionals who wanted to start their own chapter after many of them were members of The Southern Wisconsin Chapter in the Milwaukee area. We are committed to sharing ideas and enhancing our careers with networking, building relationships and educational meetings. The Capital Area Caterers have members from Madison, Middleton, Brown Deer, Janesville and Wisconsin Dells.

The National Association of Catering Executives, (NACE) was founded in 1958 and originally began as a Banquet Managers Association. Since that beginning, NACE has evolved into a Catering Association, for both Primary Caterers and Affiliates alike. NACE is the only organization solely geared towards Catering for both on premise and off premise.

NACE is the oldest and largest professional association that addresses all aspects of the catering industry. Through the collective efforts of members, local chapters, committees and the Foundation of NACE, NACE is on the forefront of issues that directly affect you and your business.

From practical tips that you can use to provide better service to your clients, to recognition and marketing programs that enhance the credibility and professionalism of the field, NACE is on the cutting edge. From educational programs and standards, to ethics, to legislative monitoring, NACE leads the way. Through Chapter involvement, you'll have an opportunity to work on community service projects and voice your opinion about issues that affect you locally and nationally.. Your chapter involvement is at the very heart of what NACE is all about- learning, sharing and growing.
